Snickas blown off the rink by the Storm 6-1.
For the first 8 minutes it looked like Snickas were the better team and just might be able to turn their fortunes around against the SU Storm, but then the goals came. For the next period and half the Storm scored at will and Snickas never had a chance.
What makes the loss tolerable is that Snickas still remain in first place and head into the final game of the season knowing just a single point will give them the Regular Season title.
Game Notes:
- Snickas played without two of their top offensive perfomers; Craig Morton (Hand) & Brian Titherington (Flu)
-Dave Pearson's third period goal for Snickas kept their streak of not being shutout intact. Snickas have now played 87 regular season games in a row where they've scored at least a goal.
Snickas Stats:
Goal: Dave Pearson (6)
Assists: Paul Stinnett (9) & Chris Murdoch (9)
