The Wrap: Snickas vs. Milton Chiefs

editors note: The Wrap was delayed due to internal problems at Office HQ, sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Snickas win big; 8-5 over the Milton Chiefs

Snickas flew out of the gate and took advantage of the undermanned Chiefs line-up, scoring 4 times before the game was 5 minutes old. The Snickas attack was led by the line of Chris Morton, Paul Stinnett, & Dan Tojeira, the trio combined for 6 goals and 9 assists. In a sloppy almost pond hockey like affair, Snickas never seemed to be in jeopardy letting their large lead slip away. Whenever the Chiefs got close, Snickas would just add another goal and keep the game out of reach.

Even though Snickas won big over a rival one cannot help but noticed the alarming rate at which they have shipped in goals in the last 3 games. 17 goals allowed in 3 games is not exactly championship calibre numbers. Goalie Kirk Burgess had only this to say after the game. "I've played like garbage, the boys have bailed me out and I need to repay them in the best currency possible, saves!"

Snickas Stars:
1st Star: Paul Stinnett, 5 goals and 1 assist.
2nd Star: Dan Tojeira, a goal and 4 assists.
3rd Star: Chris Morton, 4 assists and a 87% face-off winning percentage.

Next Monday night Snickas take on the 3rd placed Swamp Donkeys. With 3 teams realistically in the hunt for the regular season crown and only 4 games remaining every game is now of the utmost importance.
