Snickas Weekly

With arguably the most important game of the season less than 12 hours away Snickas have just learned they will be without their number one centre and point producer.

Craig Morton will be out of the lineup for tonight's battle for first place. Morton, who is second in League scoring sliced open a finger Thursday at work and will not be able to play due to the 10 stitches in his hand. This is a major blow for a team whose offense was looking up stoppable in recent weeks.

Tonight's match up against the Seamen will decide who heads into the final 2 games of the season in first place. Both teams have 24 points but the Seamen sit first based the Fewest Penalty Minutes Tie Breaker Rule. Snickas and the Seamen have met 3 times this year with Snickas winning all three (3-1, 4-1, & 3-1). Tonight's game also features the Leagues top offence (78 goals in 19 games for Snickas) and the Leagues top defence (37 goals allowed in 19 games for the Seamen).

The puck drops for this titanic battle at 11pm at the Powerade Centre.
