It doesn't get any better than this; Snickas vs. the Milton Chiefs!
Two of True North Hockey's most storied franchises resume their battle for The Molson Canadian League supremacy tonight. Snickas, 2 time League and Cup champions head into tonight's match sitting in a tie for first place. The Chiefs are currently sit fourth, 5 points back with only 5 regular season games left.
This season the two great rivals have met twice with each side coming away with a win. The game will feature 5 of the top 6 players in League scoring. Chiefs swingman Chris Clark leads the way by 9 points over Craig Morton. Clark is the leagues top goal scorer while Morton is the leagues top set up man.
Snickas enter tonight's game winless in their last two and have seen a 3 point cushion atop the standings disappear. A win tonight for Snickas will keep them in at least a share for first and also end any real shot at a back-to-back regular season titles for the Chiefs.
The action gets underway at 8:15pm.
