Snickas Weekly

3 teams, one spot. 3 teams, 3 points separating them. 3 teams, each with only 2 games left.

The Seamen, The Swamp Donkeys and Snickas all head into the penultimate week of the season with their eyes on the Prize; a Spot in the Starbucks Super Series (The Champions League). Super Series spots are reserved for only the Regular season Champs, Snickas currently sit in the pole position with 26 points, Seamen are two behind and the Swamp Donkeys are 3 back.

Tonight Snickas take on a team that has given them a rough ride so far this season. The Sports Unlimited Storm have twice beaten Snickas (4-2, 6-3) this year but in both games Snickas did have early leads.

A win tonight coupled with losses from the Donkeys and Seamen will give Snickas the regular season title. It would be their 3rd Regular Season Title in 4 years. Tonight's action gets underway at 7:15pm at the Powerade Centre in Brampton.

Injury Note:
Craig Morton is listed as a Game Time Decision. Craig had hoped to have his stitches removed on Thursday but that deadline was pushed back to the weekend in a effort to have the wound heal more naturally. Craig did visit with Doctors on the weekend, but no official word of the outcome has come from the team.

Feeling Hot:
Paul Stinnett has been lights out of late, 11 points in last 5 games.
Feeling Cold:
Kirk Burgess is having by far his worst season in a Snickas uniform, A 4.40 GAA in the last 5 games lowlights his recent downfall.
