Snickas win their second in a row and move to within a point of top spot!
Snickas took a bite out of the first place Swamp Donkeys and now only trail the Donkeys by one point in the Molson Canadian Monday Night Division. Tonight's game saw Snickas trail three times, gain the lead, give it back and then eventually hold on for a stirring 5-4 win. These are the types of wins players talk about as confidence boosters because they were behind for much of the game but still managed to pull it out in the end.
Snickas Stars:
1st Star: Brian Titherington, 2 big goals including the game winner with 1:24 left in the 3rd period.
2nd Star: Neil Townsend, 3 assists from the big blueliner.
3rd Star: Craig Morton, his third period goal kept his 7 game point streak alive. Craig leads the team with 6 goals and 5 assists through the first 9 games.
Next week Snickas set sail against the Seamen, Happy Thankgiving America!!!
